Description of key information

The short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is determined by read-across to the structural analogue substance Direct Black 168 Na salt (CAS 93281 -13 -1). The source and the target substance have the same structure in respect to the anionic constituents.

The study on the source substance was conducted according to the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia, Acute Toxicity Test) resulted on one EC50 = 64.9 mg/L, and the same result is applicable to the target substance.
