Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention

Ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.

Protection of rescuers : see chapter 8

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing media : pulverized water, foam, powder, carbone dioxide

Inappropriate extinguishing media: none

Particular dangers, products of combustion: carbone oxides (COx)

Protection against fire : adapted protective equipment and autonomous respiratory system

Accidental release measures

Personal protection : personal protective equipment, avoid dust formation, avoid breathing vapors, keep a adapted ventilation, keep away from any source of ignition,

Emergency procedures : Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area

Environmental  precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment

Cleaning procedures: Sweep and remove with a shovel.

Contain and collect the material spread with an antistatic vacuum cleaner or with a wet brush and place in a container for the elimination according to the local regulations

Handling and storage

Handling :

Appropriate technical measures: Avoid the contact with the skin and the eyes. Avoid the formation of dusts and sprays. Plan adequate ventilation to places where the dust forms. Keep away from any flame or source of sparks. Take measures to avoid the accumulation of electrostatic charges.

Recommendations against the fires and the explosions: Avoid any contact with source of ignition

Advises for industrial hygiene:

-       Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area

-       Hands wash himself after every use

-       Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
