Details on results:
Experiment 1:
all test item had dissolved (n-ocatnol solubility is > 230 mg/L)
Experiment 2:
all test item had dissolved (n-octanol solubility is > 100 g/L)
Experiment 3:
Test item had not completely dissolved
Experiment 4:
all test item had dissolved (n-octanol solubility is > 1000 g/L)

Based on experiment 4 it was concluded that the n-octanol solubility of INCA 460: DEPDA adduct. is > 1000 g/L.

The water solubility was found to be < 10 mg/L. Using this value and a n-octanol solubility of > 1000 g/L, the Pow of the test item at 20°C was estimated to be > 100000. It corresponds with a log Pow value of > 5.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The Pow of the substance at 20°C was estimated to be 100000 (log Pow > 5).

Executive summary:

The log Pow of the INCA 460: DEPDA adduct was estimated from the ratio n-octanol solubility and water solubility in a GLP study according to EC A.8, OECD 107 and OPPTS 830.7550.

The Powvalue of the test item at 20°C was > 100000 which corresponds with a log Powvalue of > 5.
