Conclusions:
Prior to the onset of boiling, a flash point for the test item had not been determined. As boiling occured between 152 °C and 164 °C, it is possible to conclude that the test item does not meet current CLP or CHS criteria for classification as a flammable liquid.

EU Method A.9. - The flash point of the test item was determined using the rapid equilibrium closed cup method.  The procedure employed was designed to be compatible with Method A.9. Flash Point of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008.

The test item was subject to a preliminary test an indicative flash point.  Approximately 3.94 g of test item was heated at a rate of 8 °C/min from ambient temperature.  Ignition trials were performed at intervals of 1 minute until detection.  The test was stopped due to boiling of the test item and repeated to confirm this result.

The flash point of the test item could not be determined due to boiling of the test item between 155 °C and 164 °C.  No flash point was recorded prior to the onset of boiling.

The test item cannot be categorised in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (Classification Labelling and Packaging) of 16 December 2008.
