Guideline:
OECD Guideline 121 (Estimation of the Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) on Soil and on Sewage Sludge using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC))
Deviations:

Principles of method if other than guideline:
The adsorption coefficient was estimated using an atom/fragment contribution method (Software KOCWINv 2.00).
KOCWIN (v 2.00) estimates Koc with two separate estimation methodologies:
(1) estimation using first-order Molecular Connectivity Index (MCI)
(2) estimation using log Kow (octanol-water partition coefficient)
The structure of the test substance is entered into the program by SMILES (Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System) notations.
