Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In a static immobilization test, Daphnia magna STRAUSS were exposed to the test item for 48 hours according to DIN 38412. The 48h-EC50 was determined to be 286 mg/L (test item) and 160.4 mg/L (act. ingr.). All reported results refer to the nominal concentrations.

Additional information

ln the acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the effects of the test substance with a nominal loading of 100, 180, 320 and 580 mg/L were determined according to DIN 38412. No analytical determination of the concentrations of the test substance was done. The mobility of the Daphnia was determined in a static 48-hour test by visual observation after 3, 6, 24 and 48 hours. A reference substance (potassium dichromate) for the positive control was used. The 24h-EC50 of the reference substance was determined to be 1.70 mg/L, therefore the validity criteria were met. The 48h-EC50 of the test substance was determined to be 286 mg/L (test item) and 160.4 mg/L (act. ingr.). The reported results refer to nominal concentrations.
