- 0.1 g of test material was added in 100 ml RO water and stirred for 96 hours. Confirmatory test couldnot be performed since the test chemical was insoluble in water.It is only soluble in organic solvents and reappears after adding water.

Data from various handbooks and authoritative databases suggests that Aluminum stearate was practically insoluble in water.
