Conclusions:
The substance was found to be miscible in all proportions at 20°C.

Description of key information

The water solubility of the test substance was determined to be >570 g/L at 24°C and completely miscible in water based on two studies in a weight of evidence approach.

BC Research Inc. (2003) determined a water solubility of >570 mg/L at 24°C and pH 12.55 by single phase observations. The study was considered to be reliable with restrictions (Klimisch 2).

In a second study the test substance was found to be miscible in all portions at 20°C according to the EC method A.6, performed by Huntingdon Research Centre Ltd. (1990) and considered reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is completely miscible in water. A water solubility value of >570 g/L at 24 °C is reported.
