Based on the low log Kow value (log Kow at pH 11.2 = 0.90, at pH 7.0 = -1.87), no bioaccumulation of the substance is expected. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, a study does not need to be conducted since the substance has a log Kow less or equal than 3.
The substance is within the applicability domain of the BCFBAF v.3.01 model of EPI Suite v4.11 (BASF SE, 2013). No significant accumulation in organisms is expected, since the BCF is calculated to be 3.16 L/kg ww (log BCF = 0.5) for substances with a log Kow < 1.
