Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Boiling point >300ºC, with decomposition from around 200ºC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
300 °C

Additional information

The substance does not boil at temperatures of up to 300ºC. The substance decomposes from around 200ºC (turned brown at around 200ºC and it changed to glasslike mass at around 300ºC).

In addition to the key study, other references are available which are either comparable (QSAR) or predict a lower boiling point under reduced pressure. These are considered to not be useful for determining the boiling point of the substance at atmospheric pressure, and they do not contradict the key study findings, hence they are not summarised in more detail.
