Administrative data

First-aid measures

On skin contact: Wash off the affected area with plenty of water while removing contaminated clothing. If irritation persists obtain medical attention.

On contact with eyes: Flush eyes with running water for at least 15 minutes to remain dust. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rising. If irritation persists obtain medical attention.

Inhalation: Move to the fresh air in case of accidental inhalation. Blow nose. Seek medical attention if necessary.

On ingestion: If conscious, rinse out the mouth with water and drink water or milk. Induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Dry chemical extintors or CO2 extintors.

Extinguishing media which must not be used: water

Special protective equipment for firefighters: Adequate protection equipment with autonomous respiration system

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Avoid contact with the product. Use safety gloves, goggles, rubber footwear, face mask and antiacid suit.

Environmental precautions: Avoid get in contact with water. Prevent from contamination of public water courses and surface waters

Methods for cleaning up: Support out of the zone of spillage. Put up sings on the affected zone. Stop the spillage forming a dike with sand or land. Retain or absorb the liquid spilt in sand, land or another appropriate material, consult an expert first. To dilute the remains that stay of the products with three water parts for one of product and later to neutralize it with sodium bicarbonate or carbonate. Do not try to neutralize it before it has not been diluted.

Handling and storage

Handling:

Use adequate personal protection equipment. The areas of work have to be well ventilated. In opposite case, use adequate respiratory protection. Wash out with plenty of water after its manipulation. Do not smoke, drink or eat while managing this storage. Do not mix in tank with any pure product

Storage:

Keep the packages closed and use only in its original package. Use and store the product in fresh, dry and drafty well zones, far from inflammable materials, alkaline products and organic materials. In case of long storage, can generate small quantities of CO2. Do not use with incompatible materials. The product could precipitate under low temperature.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

Wash hands after handling.

Hand protection: Use anti-acid gloves

Eye protection: Safety glasses

Skin protection: Use gloves, boot and anti-acid suit.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: Stable at ambient temperature and normal handling conditions.

Conditions to avoid: High temperatures and heat or ignition sources.

Materials to avoid: Avoid contact with oxidizing agents, alkaline products and organic materials.

Hazardous decomposition products: In case of long storage can generating small amount of CO2. Heat exposition can produce carbon dioxide and ammonium. In case of fire can generating carbon, nitrogen and sulfur oxides.

Disposal considerations

The product must not be diluted with water. Prevent from contamination of public courses and surface waters. Dispose according to local and national laws.
