Two studies on the biodegradation in water were performed. Both studies were conducted according to the OECD-Guideline No. 301 B "Modified Sturm Test" (1981). The results show that the compound is not readily biodegradable.

An elimination of 83.8 % was observed in a coupled unit test according to the OECD Guideline 303A. At an average concentration of 28.5 mg/l, 83.8% was eliminated within the test period of 36 days determined by direct analysis of parent. The results show that the compound is readily eliminated in sewage treatment plants.
