Additional information

In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex IX, information requirement section 7.15, this study does not need to be conducted since the stability in organic solvents is not considered critical.  This substance is manufactured at elevated temperature from fatty acids, tall-oil, fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd., branched and linear, diethylenetriamine and maleic acid. The substance has poor water solubility and is not expected to display hydrolytic instability in typical organic solvents. Furthermore, it is prudent to note that this substance, in commercial form, is supplied as a mixture with distillates (petroleum), hydrotreated light (CAS Number 64742-47-8, EC Number 265-149-8), (2-methoxymethylethoxy)propanol (CAS Number 34590-94-8, EC Number 252-104-2) and / or fatty acids, essentials, Et esters (CAS Number 91051-05-7, EC Number 293-054-1). These three additional substances are all organic in nature and the product is supplied with a two year shelf life.
