Description of key information
The potential toxic effect of Desmodur MT was testet according to the Commission Directive 88/302/EEC; OfficialJournal of the EG L 133 Part C.11 (1988),"Activated Sludge Respiration Inhibition", which is equal to OECD Guideline 209. Up to the hightest concentration of 10000 mg/L tested, Desmodur MT showed 5.3 % respiration inhibition on activated sludge within 3 hours (Bayer Industry Services, 2006).
