Additional information

Visual and organoleptic evaluations were made on the physical state, colour and odour of the test material in two studies performed with pure and technical grade active ingredient. The test material was described as an off-white, odourless powder (technical grade active ingredient) or a white, odourless fine powder (pure active ingredient) when observed at 25 °C.

The study investigating the physical properties of the pure active ingredient was selected as the key study for this endpoint as the most representative sample of the registered substance. Both studies were performed in line with good scientific principles. Both reports were GLP compliant and reported to a high standard. As such both studies were assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles of assessing data quality outlined in Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable for assessment.

The available data are considered to be complete and the description, white, odourless fine powder at 25 °C, was carried forward for risk assessment.
