Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test over 100 mm length
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period
Remarks:
The test substance melted on application of the ignition source and burned for approximately 20 seconds with a yellow flame before extinguishing. There was no propagation along the test pile. No further testing was necessary.
Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Remarks:
The substance was found not to be highly flammable. There were no deviations from the protocol and no further testing was necessary.
Conclusions:

The test substance was found not to be highly flammable.
Executive summary:

A study was performed to examine the flammability of the test substance. The study was designed in accordance with accepted principles in order to meet the requirements of REACH Regulation (EU) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The method followed is amongst those described in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 (Method A.10).
