First-aid measures

- Following inhalation: Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapors, dust or mists

- Following skin contact: IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water/soap. If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

- Following eye contact: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor.

- Following ingestion: IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON Center/doctor if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth

- Most important symptoms and effects: Asthma-like and/ or skin allergy-like symptoms

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Foam. Powder. Water spray

- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use water jet as an extinguisher, as this will spread the fire.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Containers may explode when heated A solid stream of water will spread the burning material. Material creates a special hazard because it floats on water.

- Advice for fire fighter: Use personal protective equipment as required. As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protection recommended in Section 8

- Environmental precautions: Should not be released into the environment

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. dry sand or earth), then place in a chemical waste container.

Prevent product from entering drains. Absorb with inert material and transfer to containers

for disposal.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: Wear personal protective equipment. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Emergency equipment immediately accessible, with instructions for use. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location. Use clean, well-maintained personal protective equipment. Store personal protective equipment in a clean location away from the work area. Shower or bathe at the end of working. Regular cleaning of equipment, work area and clothing. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wash hands before breaks, immediately after handling the product and at the end of the day.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Do not freeze. Store in cool well ventilated place. Store in original tightly closed sealed container. Store locked up. Do not store

near any incompatible material (see section 10). Storage area should be clearly identified, clear of obstruction and accessible to only trained and authorized personnel. Inspect periodically for damage or leaks.

Exposure controls / personal protection

1. Technical protection measures : Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas

2. Hand protection : The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN374 derived from it. Please observe the instructions

regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also, takes into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time. Gloves must be inspected prior to use

3. Body protection : Long sleeved clothing

4. Eye protection : Safety glasses. In case of contact through splashing: wear face-shield and protective suit.

5. Respiratory protection : Not required under normal use conditions. Use appropriate respiratory protection if exposure to mist is likely

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity : Stable under normal temperatures and pressures..

2. Chemical stability : Stable under recommended storage conditions

3. Possibility of hazardous reactions : None under normal processing

4. Conditions to avoid : Excessive heat, ignition sources, incompatible materials, moisture

5. Incompatible materials : Alkalis and caustic products. Oxidizing materials

6. Hazardous decomposition products : At high temperatures releases flammable vapours. On combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis) releases toxic vapours.

Disposal considerations

Waste from residues/unused products : Dispose of as hazardous waste in compliance with applicable regulations.

Contaminated Packaging : Dispose of in accordance with applicable regulations
