Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Sample tested:
other: Oxidiser cellulose-mixtures containing 10 to 90 % weight of oxidiser in 10 % increments
Parameter:
burning time of reaction over a distance of 200 mm
Remarks on result:
mixture does not ignite and burn

Any other information on results incl. tables

Preliminary Test

The mixture was put in contact with the gas burner and no vigorous reaction occurred.

As the preliminary test does not indicates that the test substance has oxidising properties, the train test was performed.

 Train test

For each mixture, the pile did not ignite and so no burning rate has been calculated. Therefore, test was stopped.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The 2-AMINOETHANOL HYDROBROMIDE is not considered as an oxidising substance as no vigorous reaction occurred in the preliminary test and none of the mixture ignite along the powder train during the train test.
