Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

A skin sensitisation was performed according to OECD 406 with modifications according to Th. Maurer and R. Hess (1989): The maximization test for skin sensitization potential-updating the standard protocol and validation of a modified protocol. Fd Chem. Toxic. Vol. 27, No. 12, 807-811.

1/20 animals (5 % of the animals) had positive skin reactions in the test substance group.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
Skin sensitisation: OECD 406, EU method B.6: not sensitising

Justification for classification or non-classification

No classification is derived from the results of the study, as only 5 % of the test substance group animals had positive skin reactions after the challenge exposure, which is well below the threshold for classification of 30 %.
