Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The test item is a mixture of components which differ in their chemical behaviour.

It is evident that each of the single components of this mixture shows different properties, in particular concerning partition coefficient n-octanol/water (Pow). Due to this, the determination of log Pow corresponding to OECD Guideline 107 (shake flask method) is not feasible.

Because the test item cannot be chromatographed under the prescribed conditions, the determination of log Pow corresponding to the HPLC-method (OECD Guideline 117 is not feasible, as well.

Thus, the log Pow can only be estimated from the single solubilities in n-octanol and in water. The determination was done according to OECD Guideline 105, flask method.

As it was not possible to determine the water solubility and the n-octanol solubility of the test item explicitely, the log Pow can only be estimated from the values found with the visual test for the water solubility/miscibility and from the values of the n-octanol solubility determined under defined conditions
