non oxidising

Additional information

The determination was performed according to the UN Test O.1.

Due to the fact that the mixtures of test item with cellulose (4:1 and 1:1) showed a mean burning time higher than the mean burning time of a 3:7 mixture of potassium bromate and cellulose, it was concluded that the test item has no oxidising properties.

Justification for classification or non-classification

As the experimental data provided the substance does not need to be classified as an oxidizing material.
