Endpoint:
skin sensitisation: in vivo (LLNA)
Data waiving:

Justification for data waiving:

Justification for type of information:
The substance to be registered contains the skin sensitizer 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) in remaining concentrations of >=1% - <=9% (w/w). According to Annex VI to the CLP Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008), HEMA is classified as Skin Sens 1 (H317). Applying the classification & labelling rules for mixtures, a skin sensitizing potential has to be assumed for the substance to be registered. Therefore, a test for skin sensitization (which at the time of the decision would have been an in vivo test) was omitted.
