Description of key information
In accordance with Section 2 of Annex XI of the REACH regulation, the registrant considers it justified to omit testing to determine the vapour pressure of the substance. The registrant considers that none of the methods specified in OECD guideline 104 would be practicable in determining the vapour pressure of the registered substance. Furthermore it was not considered possible to identify an appropriate calculation method to determine the value. Given the relatively high melting point of the substance and its physical nature it is considered that the substance would not have a vapour pressure sufficient to contribute to a hazard in its normal use and in conjunction with the technical difficulties involved, the registrant considers it justifiable to omit the study.
