Description of key information

FAT 46014/I TE is a yellow coloured, odourless solid powder. Neither a melting nor a boiling point could be detected until 350 °C. The density of FAT 46014/I according to OECD guideline 109 is 1.3424 g/cm³ at 20 °C. The median particle size (D50) is 140.992 μm. In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, information requirement section 7.5, the vapour pressure study does not need to be conducted if the melting point is >300 °C. The partition coefficient in n-octanol/water of FAT 46014/I could not be determined as both individual solubility in water and n-octanol were below the limit of quantification. The water solubility (cs) of FAT 46014/I at a temperature of 20 °C was determined to <1 μg/l. The surface tension was determined to be 73.325 mN/m at room temperature of 20 °C. No auto-ignition of FAT 46014/I was detected until 550 °C. FAT 46014/I should be considered as not highly flammable. The substance is considered to be non-explosiveand not oxidising as this substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of its chemical structure.
