Details on results (HPLC method):
- Retention times of reference substances used for calibration: The dead time was determined as 3.119 minutes (mean of 3.127 and 3.110 minutes) and the mean times of the reference compounds ranged from 4.3635 to 18.359 minutes.
- Details of fitted regression line (log k' vs. log Koc): A linear regression analysis of the results provided a slope of 0.33664 an intercept of -0.91283 correlation coefficient of 0.96127

A mean retention time of 12.058 minutes was obtained for Jeffcat ZF-10 giving a log k value of 0.45737. This gives a log Koc, value of 4.07 and therefore Koc, value of 11754.
Transformation products:

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The soil adsorption coefficient for the test substance has been determined to to be 4.07 for Log Koc and 11745 for Koc. This result indicates that the test substance will be highly bound to organic matter in soils.

Description of key information

The determination of Soil Adsorption Coefficient for the test substance by HPLC was conducted as described by OECD draft document TGP/94.75 (April 1994) and followed GLP. The soil adsorption coefficient for the test substance has been determined to be 4.07 for Log Koc and 11754 for Koc. This result indicates that the test substance will be highly bound to organic matter in soils.
