Based on a 96-hour LC50 in fish of 5.7 mg/L and the fact that the substance is not biodegradable, the substance has been classified according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 as N; R51/53 Dangerous for the environment; Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects: Acute Env. Tox. category 2, Chronic Env. Tox. category 2.
