Description of key information

Four ready biodegradability studies were located for this substance of which three were considered valid. One, an OECD 301D test performed according to GLP. In this study the substance was found to biodegrade more than 70% within 28 days, but failed the 10 day window criterion. A second 301 D study was performed and reached 70% biodegradation within 28 days (60% within 14 -day window) but the test was not performed according to GLP. A third 301 D study was performed according to GLP, was judged valid and reached 70% biodegradation within 28 days meeting the criterion (i.e. 14 -day window in the Closed Bottle Test). Based on these results the substance should be classified as readily biodegradable.
