Administrative data

Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
calculation (if not (Q)SAR)
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
accepted calculation method
Justification for type of information:
According to REACH Annex VII, section 7.5., if the melting point is between 200°C and 300°C, a value based on a measurement or a recognised calculation method is sufficient.
Copper dihydroxide decomposed before the melting point was reached (Marsh, 2000). Decomposition took place at an onset temperature of 229°C. Accordingly, a calculation has been done to estimate the vapour pressure of copper dihydroxide at 25°C.
