Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Two studies on toxicity to terrestrial organisms are available: earthworm reproduction test (OECD 222, 2014) and soil microorganisms, nitrogen transformation test (OECD 216, 2014).

No adverse effects on earthworm were observed up to the highest tested concentration of 1000 mg/kg dw during 56 days. Slight effects on nitrogen transformation was observed and a EC10 of 658mg/kg dw was derived.

Due to the test substances high adsorption potential (log Koc > 3.67, experimentally determined value, CIBA-GEIGY, 1995) the substance is expected to adsorb to the solid soil phase and is not expected to enter the pore water. Therefore, the two available studies on terrestrial toxicity (toxicity to earthworm reproduction (OECD 222) and soil microorganisms (OECD 216)) are considered to be suitable and sufficient to determine terrestrial toxicity of the substance.

The result of the nitrogen transformation test was used for PNEC derivation and chemical safety assessment.
