Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Oxidising properties were predicted to be negative based on chemical strucutre. No tests were conducted.

The structure of the test material was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidising properties. Examples of

such groups are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates and iodites.

Full structural details are given in Bretherick's Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards, 4th Edition, Butterworths,London, 1990.

Based on the chemical structure of the test material the result for the oxidising properties has been predicted negative.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: no oxidising properties
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
Based on the chemical structure of the test material the result for the oxidising properties has been predicted negative.
Executive summary:

In a determination of hazardous physico-chemical properties study (Harlan project number: 0959/0235) the oxidising properties for the test material have been predicted negative. The oxidising properties were predicted using Method A17 Oxidising Properties (Solids) of Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. Part A: Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties.
