A GLP guideline study according to OECD 310 is available for the biodegradation assessment of the test substance. In this study, the degradation of the test substance was determined to be 36 % at the end of the 10-day-window (days 15 to 25). Following OECD 310, a test substance is considered to be readily biodegradable if the degradation of the test substance equals 60 % at the end of the 10-day-window. Hence, the test item is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria. Even after a test duration of 60 days the degradation did not surpass 54 % (Laus 11012602G606, 2011).
In addition, the inherent biodegradability of the test substance was investigated in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 302B (LAUS 11012603G601, 2011). In this study, with a degradation of 35% after 28 days, the test substance was determined to be not inherently biodegradable either.
