Additional information

Two studies on the melting point of MDIPA-Esterquat C16-18 and C18 unsatd. according to OECD Guideline 102 and EU method A.1 using differential scanning calorimetry are available.

In the first study the melting temperature of the test substance was 36°C (309K). Reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance was observed at temperatures of >250°C (>523K).

In the second study no standard melting point was found. The melting point of the main phase was detected at approx. 36 °C.
