Description of key information

The boiling point is determined to 5.69 °C at 1013.25 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
5.69 °C

Additional information

The boiling point is determined in a weight-of-evidence approach of two experimental studies of BASF and three secondary sources, Kirk-Othmer, Roempp and Hommel. All values derived from the different sources match together. The experimental derived value from BASF-study BRU 70.039 is considered as the most valid as the study is documented in a proper way and there are secondary information including purity of the substance. There this value is chosen as key value.
