First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures:
General advice:
Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
If inhaled:
If breathed in move person into fresh air. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. If not breathing give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.
In case of skin contact:
Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult physician. Remove/take off all contaminated clothes and wash before reuse.
In case of eye contact:
Flush easy with water as a precaution. Remove contact lens. Consult physician.
If swallowed:
Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Consult physician. Administer activated carbon.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: No data
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
To remove substance from stomach and intestine, after vomiting, rinse of stomach and administering brine as laxative are needed.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: use powder or sand
Unsuitable extinguishing media: No data
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
In case of fire Sulphur oxides (SOx), Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Carbon oxides (COx) may be evolved.
Advice for firefighters
Flammability class: „C” Flammable
Flammability rate: III.
Fire group: T3
Special requirement:
Wear self contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains. Discharge into the environment must be avoided.
Methods and materials for containment and cleanng up
Soak up with inert absorbent material and dispose of as hazardous waste. Keep in suitable closed container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapour or mist.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilties
Packaging material:
Plastic lined steel drum, plastic or stainless steel container.
Storage room:
Store in cool place but not under -10 oC. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place far from any source of heat and open flame.
Do not store together with food and feed.

Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No data
Chemical stability:
Stability against heat: stabile till 200 °C.
Stability against alkaline and acidic agents: hydrolyze under the influence of strong alkaline and acids and under heating.
Possibility of hazardous reaction
No data.
Conditions to avoid
Heat and ignition sources.
Incompatible materials
Ductile iron
Hazardous decomposition products
In case of fire: Sulphur oxides (SOx), Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Carbon oxides (COx)
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Close leakage as possible. Spilled product shall be contained with dam and pumped. The product shall be transferred from the container leaked into a new one. The remaining liquid shall be soaked with sand, soil or similar product and placed in a container tightly closed the container shall be transferred to a waste storage place. Offer surplus and non-recyclable product to a licensed disposal company.
EWC Code: not available
Contaminated packaging disposal: As dangerous waste similar to unused product.
Special precaution measures:
Do not empty into drains, dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point.
