Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A reliable 96 h LC50 value of 3.1 mg/L has been determined for the effects of decanol (CAS 112-30-1) on the mortality of the brackish copepod Nitocra spinipes. This is the lowest reliable value available for this endpoint and has been selected as key.

No data is currently available with decanol branched and linear (CAS 90342-32-8), however data is available with the closely related substance decanol (CAS 112-30-1). It is possible to validly read-across data between the two substances, as outlined in the overall aquatic toxicity endpoint summary.
