Description of key information

A study for the endpoint 'bioaccumulation' has not been performed for magnesium bis(dihydrogenorthophosphate). An adaptation from the standard testing regime is justified on the following basis:
In accordance with Section 1 of Annex XI of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (testing does not appear scientifically necessary), the bioaccumulation study (required in Annex IX, Section 9.3.2.) does not need to be conducted as the hazard assessment performed during the chemical safety assessment concludes that the substance is not classified and is of no immediate concern to the environment. The available data is adequate for classification and labelling purposes and PBT assessment is not required for inorganic substances so no further testing is required.
