Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Workers - Hazard for the eyes

Additional information - workers

A DNEL for systemic effects following repeat exposure was derived, based on a NOAEL of 50 mg/kg/day.

Assessment factor of 100 for sub-chronic oral exposure to workers = DNEL Sub-chronic 0.5 mg/kg/day

Assessment factor of 300 for chronic oral exposure to workers = DNEL Chronic 0.17 mg/kg/day

This is based on:

Total AF for chronic exposure : 4 (allometric scaling) × 2.5 (remaining interspecies) × 5 (intraspecies, worker) × 6 (sub-acute to chronic)

Total AF for sub-chronic exposure: 4 (allometric scaling)× 2.5 (remaining interspecies)× 5 (intraspecies, worker)× 2 (sub-acute to chronic)
