Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

logKoc -1.3909, Koc 0.040, QSAR defined by Sabljic and Güsten (1995), Groult 2004

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The adsorption/desorption coefficient of the test material was estimated by calculation in the key study by Groult (2004). The study was therefore assigned a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the principles for assessing data quality as defined by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The calculation was performed in accordance with ‘QSARs for soil and sediment sorption for different chemical classes’ by Sabljic and Güsten (1995) alongside the interpretation of the partition coefficient (in octanol/water) of the test material.

The test material is related to non-hydrophobic items and therefor the values were calculated on the basis of this chemical class.

The logKoc was estimated by calculation to be -1.3909 and the Koc to be 0.040.
