Final Results

Direct Addition Method:

Defined volumes of the solvents dichloromethane and dimethyl sulfoxide were added to about 0.6 g test substance. The solubility of the test substance in the respective solvent was determined visually after 20 minutes. The solubility range in each one of the solvents is determined based on the added volume in which complete dissolution of the sample occurs.
