Discussion: 


 


The use of perforated (laser drilled) crucible lids in Determinations 3 and 4 produced a more defined boiling endotherm. Therefore, the endpoint has been taken from Determinations 3 and 4.

Conclusions:
The boiling point of the test item has been determined to be 294.5 ± 0.5 °C (567.7 ± 0.5 K) at 101.6 kPa.
