Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to Daphnia magna: Range finding study similar to OECD 202 (Read Across)

No adverse effects on the mobility of Daphnia magna were observed after 24 h and 28 h, respectively. Thus, the 48 h EC50 of the test item analogue is considered to be greater that 100 mg/L (nominal).

Long-term toxicity to Daphnia magna: OECD Guideline 211 (Read Across)

No adverse effects were observed at the limit of solubility (NOEC >= 1.08 µg/L, geom. mean measured conc.) after 21 d. The nominal NOEC is >= 100 mg/L.

Toxicity to aquatic algae: OECD Guideline 201

The results indicated that there was no toxicity at the limit of solubility (0.00202 mg/L) of the test substance in the test media. Therefore, the 72 h EC50 was determined to be greater than 0.00202 mg/L (geom. mean measured conc.) and the 72 h NOEC was determined to be >= 0.00202 mg/L (geom. mean measured conc.) based on growth rate.
