Description of key information

The flash point of the test item was determined to be 96 °C at 1013 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
96 °C

Additional information

A study was conducted according to Regulation 67/548/EEC method A.9 to determine flash point of the test item using a closed cup method (reference 4.11 -1). The measured flash point at atmospheric pressure was corrected to a standard pressure of 1013 hPa. The flash point was determined to be at 96 °C (corrected to the ambient pressure). Thus, the flash point of the test item was determined to be 96 °C (corrected and rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C) at 1013.25 hPa.
