Description of key information
The substance has a low flashpoint (43°C) and a boiling point of 172.2°C indicating flammability and is classified as flammable liquid Category 3 according to CLP classification criteria table 2.6.1. With regards to flammability in contact with water, the structural features of the substance were evaluated and it was concluded that the substance does not contain groups that might lead to the evolution of a dangerous amount of flammable gas when coming into contact with water or damp air (ECHA guidance R.7.1.10.8, 2014).

Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the flashpoint of 43°C and the boiling point of 172.2°C as well as its structural features, the substance needs to be classified as flammable liquid Category 3 according to the CLP Regulations (EC) No 1272/2008 and its amendments.
