Conclusions:
The GLP study was performed according to EU method A.1 without deviations and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. From 310 °C there was a slowly changing of the colour to grey/brown but no melting up to
355 °C.
Executive summary:

The melting point of the test substance was determined in a GLP test according to EU method A.1 using the DSC method first. As the effects were not reproducable the substance was heated using the capillary method in a melting device with liquid bath in order to observe the melting behaviour. The substance was heated up to 270 °C and then heated with a rate of 2 K/min. Until a temperature of 310 °C there were no optical changes. From 310 °C there were a slowly changing of the colour to grey/brown but no melting up to 355 °C. At the end of the measurement the substance was dark and a little sintered.
