PRELIMINARY TEST
- The preliminary estimate of water solubility using a loading rate of 0.1 g/L was 1.15 x 10E-03 gTOC/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and pH 5.7.
- The preliminary estimate of water solubility using a loading rate of 1 g/L was 4.91 x 10E-03 gTOC/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and pH 5.8.
- The preliminary estimate of water solubility using a loading rate of 10 g/L was 2.20 x 10E-02 gTOC/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and pH 5.3.

DEFINITIVE TEST
- The analysed concentrations of total organic carbon (TOC) obtained from the sample solutions and blanks are shown in Table 16 (below).
- Concentration (g/L) of TOC in the sample solutions at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C are shown in Table 17 (below).

Mean result: 1.45 x 10E-03 gTOC/L at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C

Conclusions:
Water solubility of the test item was determined by total organic carbon analysis to be 1.45 x 10E-03 gTOC/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The result was based on a nominal loading rate of 0.1 g/L.
Executive summary:

GUIDELINE

The determination was carried out using the flask method, designed to be compatible with Method A.6 Water Solubility of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

RESULTS

Water solubility of the test item was determinedby total organic carbonto be 1.45 x 10E-03 gTOC/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. The result was based on a nominal loading rate of 0.1 g/L.

Description of key information
