Naphtol AS PH was examined for skin sensitizing effects using the Maximisation method in Guinea pigs with epi dermal and intradermal induction and epidermal challenge. Nine of ten animals showed positive effects as erythema and edema adt the treated sites. Negative control animals did no show any effects.

Positive effects were deteceted in more than 30 % of the treated animals.
