Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Environmental Classification related key information:

Biodegradation in water: not readily biodegradable

Bioaccumulation: no potential to bioaccumulate; log Kow > 10 (EPISUITE QSAR calculation)

Water solubility: < 0.1 g/L (insoluble, EPISUITE QSAR calculation)

The Summary of Acute aquatic toxicity data:

For fish: 96h LC50 > 1.67 mg/L; LC50 > water solubility

For invertebrates: 48h EC50 = 2.4 mg/L (RA from LABS); EC50 > water solubility

For algae: 72h-EbC50 = 127.9 mg/L (RA from LABS);  EC50 > water solubility

The Summary of Chronic aquatic toxicity data

For fish: 72d NOEC = 0.23 mg / L; NOEC > water solubility

For invertebrates: 21d NOEC= 1.41 mg /L; NOEC > water solubility

For algae: 72h-NOECb ≥ 2.4 mg/L (RA from LABS); NOEC > water solubility

Conclusion on classification

Based on available acute and chronic aquatic data from analogue substances and EPISUITE QSAR modeling calculation, the test substance is considered as an insoluble substance with EC50 and NOEC values higher than its predicted water solubility. It is therefore expected that the substance will not be toxic to freshwater or marine species. The substance has a very high predicted log Pow, but a very low predicted log BCF. It is therefore considered that the substance would not bioaccumulate in the environment. Based on the available data, the substance will be persistent in the environment.

On the basis of the data available and the known properties of the substance, the substance should be classified as category chronic 4, following section 4.1.2.6 of the CLP Regulation.
