First-aid measures

In case of inhalation: Take the affected person into the fresh air.
In case of skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of water and soap.
In case of contact with eyes: Rinse with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
After ingestion: No adverse effects are expected. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. However, avoid ingestion.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Water, foam, dust or CO2.
Special hazards: Combustible. Can be released in case of fire: toxic fumes or vapours of COx, NOx, POx and water. Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and personal protection equipment.

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions: Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water.
Personal precautions: Do not breathe dust. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection.
Methods for cleaning up: Use broom or vacuum to remove dust. Use appropriate container.

Handling and storage

Handling: No special measures are required. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection.
Storage: Collect in closed containers for disposal. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

We declare that the substance is manufactured and used under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates. We have received confirmation from the user that the synthesis of other substance from this intermediate takes place under strictly controlled conditions during its whole lifecycle as described under Article 18(4) and Section 2.1 of the Guidance for Intermediates.

Effectiveness:
Prevention of exposure since the substance is rigorously contained by technical means during its whole lifecycle and procedural and control technologies are used to minimise emission and any resulting exposure as described under Article 18(4).

Hygiene measures: Remove/take off all contaminated clothing. Wash hands after work.
