Description of key information

Based on a read across to BCF data for EDTA(4Na) indicating values between 1 and 2, supported by a predicted value of 3.162 from quantitative structure activity modelling for HEDTA, it is considered unlikely that HEDTA will bioaccumulate.

Additional information

Estimation using a valid quantitative structure activity model for HEDTA predicts a BCF of 3.162. This estimation is supported by experimentally derived BCF data of 1-2 on a structural analogue of the substance.

It is considered unlikely that HEDTA will bioaccumulate.
