Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

A test substance is considered highly flammable when it ignites spontaneously in contact with water, or evolves a flammable gas at a minimum rate of ≥ 1 L/kg of the substance per hour.

None of the components of the test substance (see attached document and IUCLID section 1) does contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with water and/or to the evolution of a flammable gas. Moreover the test substance was dissolved in water during the determination of the water solubility. It demonstrated that the test substance does not ignite spontaneously in contact with water.

In conclusion, X-22-1927 is considered ‘not highly flammable’ in contact with water.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
From a GLP-compliant statement based on structural features and experience in handling, it was concluded that X-22-1927 is not highly flammable in contact with water.
